About

Meet Coach Patty.

Healthcare → digital entrepreneurship → Patty Studios → the Academy.

She started where a lot of Academy students start: a real profession, real expertise, and no obvious way to turn either into something of her own.

My story

In her own words.

Patty tells this herself, and it is worth reading before deciding whether the Academy is the right place to learn from her.

  1. The start

Nothing, and no idea where to begin

I had nothing. Broke, starting from scratch. I had lost the house and the car, and I could not carry on studying. I did not know how to begin again. Every day I asked myself the same thing: how do I get back up?

She was recovering from an accident at the time, and finishing a physical therapy licence she could not yet afford to use.

  2. The grind

    Every job at once

Most healthcare jobs here pay 600 to 1,000 pesos a day. You are physically drained and mentally exhausted, and it is still not enough. So I tried everything — selling reviewers, selling flowers, selling balloons.

Working student on a full scholarship, top of her review centre, tutoring and washing dishes in the afternoons. After graduating: a BPO job, part-time lecturing, private patients, a clinic. Seven in the morning to midnight, Monday to Sunday.

  3. The turn

    Freedom is built, not given

I saw reality early and it changed how I think forever. I could not rely on one path. I had to learn how to build, how to create ownership, how to use leverage. So I started again. I studied business. I learned freelancing. Because at some point survival is not the goal any more — freedom is. And freedom is built, not given.

The only route anyone had taught her was to leave the country. Starting from nothing, that felt impossible. So she bet on the other thing she had: what she could learn.

  4. The first ₱2,000

    Betting on herself

I put in 2,000 pesos as capital. I was really eager to learn, grow and upskill. Anything can be learned — if other people can do it, so can I.

The first person who believed in her was Dr. Mich Sanchez, and they built side by side from there — the same client whose case study is on the Success Stories page.

  5. The decision

    Quitting all five jobs

I resigned from all of my jobs. All of them, at the same time. Honestly it was scary, because I was betting everything on myself. I had five different sources of work. But I decided to stop spreading myself thin and start building something that could actually scale. You do not get rewarded for being busy. You get rewarded for being strategic.
  6. Canada

    Ready when it came

Sometimes you do not know when the moment that changes your life will arrive. So while you are waiting, you prepare — because when the opportunity shows up, you have to already be ready.

The Canada opportunity came, and the business she had been building quietly paid for the preparation to take it.

  7. The setback

    Build something you own

Abroad taught me something real. It is not always stability — it is pressure, uncertainty and fast change. There was a moment I felt like giving up. Not because I was not capable, but because everything felt overwhelming. What I thought was a setback was actually protection, and it taught me one thing I will never forget: build something you own.

She missed the window to process her work paperwork, the recession arrived, and the rules for foreign workers changed. What saved her from starting over was the business she had already been building quietly.

  8. Now

    What it was all for

I get to help my siblings now, and I do not just support them — I teach them how to upskill so they can build their own future. When we go out I do not let my parents spend any more. Not because they cannot. Because I finally can.

She still works as a physiotherapist. Not to survive any more — because she chooses to.

Where it went

Back to Canada, on her own terms.

“Second time back in Canada. Not as an OFW. Not to gamble. Not to fight to survive. I came back to travel.”
Patty Studios today

The agency behind the Academy.

Patty Studios Digital Marketing helps businesses grow through:

  • Business & personal brand architecture
  • Content creation
  • Digital marketing strategy
  • Social media advertising
  • Personal branding
  • Digital product launches

The Academy teaches this method. The agency applies it for clients who hire it — two separate things, and the Academy does not include agency work.

Why the Academy

Because the hardest part was never the information.

Patty speaking at the Patty Studios second-anniversary event

Patty Studios Academy™ was created to give other people a structured environment to begin building their own digital journey.

Everything needed to start is already published somewhere. What is missing is direction, sequence, mentorship, community and the accountability to actually implement — which is what the six months are built to provide.

What I believe
“I built Patty Studios Academy because I believe your starting point doesn't have to determine your destination.”
Proof

Students, not claims.

The most useful evidence of whether a teacher is any good is what their students build. The Academy publishes only outcomes it can evidence — and it does not publish income promises.

The Nurse K Learning Hub page she built, showing 60 followers
I stayed consistent in my everyday posts although I am tired coming home from work. I reached 60 followers just today — last week it was only 30. I get to have my own colour combination and branding thanks to Canva and ChatGPT, which made posting easier. I didn't let rejection stop me from what I am doing.

A week of reach on her own content: 8,000 views and 105 interactions
Aside from reselling the courses and ebooks, I also earn by making my own digital products. This started my journey — the printable posters I made in my free Canva account.

The Bags and Tails PH page, built and running

Started a pre-loved bag business from her own page while working as a nurse, shipping across the Philippines — and gives a share of every purchase to a local animal shelter.
